Caroline S. Godwin

I am excited about embarking on my fifth year as a Principal in Craven County and my eighth year at Roger Bell New Tech Academy. I started my teaching career at Wallace Elementary, teaching 5th grade. I moved to Craven County in 2008 as a 5th-grade teacher at Bangert Elementary in New Bern. I continued my career in Craven County as an AIG Teacher, Title 1 Teacher, and a District Digital Teaching and Learning Coach. I joined the Roger Bell Family in 2018 as an Instructional Coach. 

I have enjoyed the opportunity to help Roger Bell New Tech Academy become the school it is today. I look forward to working with the students, families, staff, and the community to continue supporting Roger Bell and its future success. 

My husband Derek and I have a daughter, Maddie, who is in 3rd grade!
